Summer Seasonal Affective Disorder

SSAD - SUMMER SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER

* Seasonal Affective Disorder affects mostly women.

* Northern states affected to a far greater extent.

* Starts at the beginning of spring/summer and last until cold enough to wear long covered clothing.

* Symptoms end the start of winter.

*Women dislike others who have had cosmetic surgery although they think about seeing a surgeon occasionally themslves.

* They will exhibit bipolar like behavior or fazes of depression, anxiety, aggression transferance, various types of substance abuse, doctor shopping, irritability and jealousy of thin figured women at onset of summer.

*As an informal group unknowingly suffering the same disorder, will apply "Informal Social Sanctions" (gossip, ridicule) on others who are not having problems and do not hide their figures.

* Usually overweight, religious to a fault, extremely critical of other women and their figure and could suffer with prescription or illegal drug dependence.

* Have poor figure for a woman and/or are grossly out of shape.

* Will state that sun can cause blindness.

* Will use children as an excuse. (Woman are wearing summer clothes and bathing suits that show too much of their figure and this will cause the children to be perverts).

* Make excuses not to go outside.

* Have greatly diminished sexual desire.

* Outlandish embellishment of doctor findings; A little sun will cause cancer. Wearing high heels once will cause back surgery. Hot air is bad for your lungs. Outdoor activities cost too much. Driving in the heat will cause car problems.

* Become more energetic as winter nears because they can hide their figure in winter clothes, sleep better, want to go places and now criticize those who want to stay home.
